Hi, I’m Janik Dotzel, a Software Engineer at Akka.
I design and implement Distributed Systems for enterprise scale.
Currently I'm exploring and writing about Agentic AI.

Here are my some of past achievements:

• Transformed a monolithic Scala/Java app into a microservice architecture
• Implemented 20+ Microservices for connecting different parcel service providers to our shipping and parcel tracking app
• Integrated HSQLDB into our microservice ecosystem
• Advised, supported and assisted software engineers and architects to design and develop reactive solutions
• Consulted clients in large organizations to integrate the Akka stack into their environment
• Teached software engineers customers through mentoring, code reviews, etc. to successfully develop and implement software solutions with Akka
